The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Nagpur has enrolled 125 participants drawn from over 110 companies with an average work experience of 18 years.

IIM Nagpur is the youngest IIM to venture into starting a management programme for senior-level management. The SMP from IIM Nagpur is a 12-month programme, designed for executives who want to be instrumental in their organisation’s growth story by way of designing strategies, cross-functional integration, execution, and change management.

The programme curriculum enables building fundamental business management skills among participants and exposes them to verticals and departments critical for organisational success. Experienced and senior executives get an opportunity to refresh their skill-sets and understand their own strengths to optimally align them for organisational growth.

Dr Atul Arun Pathak, Chairperson, Executive Education & Programme Director of SMP highlighting the key differentiating features of the programme said that it includes Chamber Consulting, industry speaker series and townhalls. He urged the participants to benefit from the academic rigour, networking opportunities and growth potential offered via the SMP programme.

As per the IIM Nagpur, the programme is targeted at mid-career to senior-level working executives and managers on the cusp of taking up leadership roles and key decision-making roles in the organisation. Leadership practitioners looking to refresh their management knowledge and skills would also benefit from this programme. The programme will benefit participants working in (or soon to take up) leadership roles in organisations including (but not restricted to) MNCs, private corporates, PSUs, government departments, MSMEs and family businesses.

The programme will be delivered through a blended learning model. The in-class component will involve a variety of pedagogical techniques such as lectures, case discussions, simulation games, role plays, group projects and other experiential exercises.

The online component delivered through interactive mode will facilitate learning through synchronous mode using multi-media components involving case discussions, and audio and video engaging components.
