CAT 2021 registration process started from today on iimcat.ac.in. Check process, fees and documents to upload.
CAT 2021 registrations began today from 10 am onwards on the official website. This year, IIM Ahmedabad is conducting CAT exam, which will be held on November 28 in three shifts. It issued the CAT 2021 notification on July 31, announcing key dates, eligibility criteria, fees and test centre details.
CAT 2021 registration cum application form submission can be done in online mode only. Last date to apply for CAT exam is September 15. CAT application fee is Rs 2,200 for unreserved category candidates and Rs 1,100 for reserved category candidates.
CAT Eligibility Criteria
CAT eligibility criteria for all candidates is the same, but for the minimum score requirement. Check below:
- General/OBC category students should have completed graduation with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university
- SC/ST/PwD category students should have completed graduation with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university
- Students in their final year of bachelor’s degree programme can also apply CAT 2021
- Candidates with professional degree such as CA/CS/ICWAI are also eligible to apply for CAT 2021

How to Apply for CAT 2021?
CAT application form is available on the official website only. Given below is the process of online registration and form filling for CAT 2021.
- Open the CAT 2021 website in a new window
- Click on ‘New Registration’ tab or click here: https://cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/756/72168/Registration.html
- Enter name, date of birth, nationality, mobile phone number and email ID
- An OTP will be sent on mobile number
- Validate the OTP to get CAT login ID and password
- Login again and fill the CAT application form
- Add personal details, academic details
- Select preferred test cities and IIMs
- Upload scanned photo and signature in prescribed dimension
- Review the form and move to final step i.e. payment of fees
- Pay the fees via debit/credit card, net banking or payment wallet

To fill the CAT application form, the candidates will require following documents of reference and/or uploading.
- Class 10 marksheet
- Class 12 marksheet
- Graduation marksheet
- Scanned passport size photo
- Scanned signature
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- PwD certificate (if applicable)

CAT exam is conducted by the IIMs for admission to its MBA/PGP, Executive PGP and FPM programmes. CAT score is also valid for admission to over 1,200 other B-Schools in India.
