Delhi University Executive Council has approved the MBA Business Analytics course. The new course is being started in the Department of Commerce, with 76 seats.

The University of Delhi (DU) Executive Council (EC) meeting was held today in which the university decided to start a new course, MBA Business Analytics. The course will have a total of 76 seats initially.

The Executive Council meeting was presided over by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Yogesh Singh. During the EC meeting, the recommendations made in the meeting of the Finance Committee of the University held on August 17, 2023, were also approved.

The new program MBA (Business Analytics), being started in the Department of Commerce, will start with 76 seats. There will be a total of 60 seats, including 40.50% UR, 27% OBC, 15% SC, 7.5% ST and 10% EWS quota. Apart from these, there will be 5% CW, 5% PwBD and 10% quota for foreign students under the supernumerary quota.

As per the rules and guidelines of the University, 4 seats will be under PG Ward Quota, out of which 2 will be for teaching and 2 for non-teaching. Thus, a total of 76 seats have been kept in this programme.

Under this, the university's unaudited annual accounts, hall and hostel, provident fund and national pension scheme were approved unanimously for the financial year 2022-23. Apart from these, the revision of budget estimates of some departments for the financial year 2023-24 was also accepted.
