The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Mumbai is set to host the 5th phase of the Yuva Sangam, a cultural exchange program, from November 26 to December 6, 2024. The event, which is part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat campaign, aims to promote national integration by fostering a deeper understanding of India’s diverse cultures. This exciting initiative will allow students to exchange ideas and showcase their talents while immersing themselves in the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra and Odisha.
Collaboration Between IIM Mumbai and IIT Bhubaneswar
IIM Mumbai will join forces with IIT Bhubaneswar to represent their respective states, Maharashtra and Odisha, during this phase of the Yuva Sangam. The event will involve students from both states participating in a variety of cultural activities, promoting mutual respect and strengthening the bonds between the people of Maharashtra and Odisha. A delegation from Odisha will travel to Mumbai, where they will have the opportunity to experience the cultural vibrancy of Maharashtra firsthand.
Cultural Interactions, Learning Sessions, and Monument Visits
The week-long event will feature a series of cultural interactions and learning sessions, allowing participants to gain valuable insights into the diverse traditions of Maharashtra. Attendees will visit landmark monuments in Mumbai, enhancing their understanding of the city’s historical and cultural significance. Additionally, students will be able to savor authentic Maharashtrian cuisine, experiencing the culinary diversity of the region.

As per the report by Hindustan Times "As per the gazette published by the Ministry of Law and Justice, NITIE will continue to function until a new board is constituted for IIM under this act. After the constitution of a new board under this act, the old board will dissolve."
