IP University launches five-year integrated BBA & MBA programme

The integrated BBA and MBA programme spans a duration of five years, consolidating both undergraduate and postgraduate business education into a streamlined curriculum. IP University has allocated 60 seats for this programme, aiming to cater to students aspiring for a seamless transition from undergraduate to postgraduate studies.

IP University has announced the introduction of a five-year integrated BBA and MBA programme starting from the academic session 2024 – 25. This newly approved programme by the AICTE will initially be offered through its affiliated institute, Gitarattan International Business School, located in Rohini.

Programme Details

The integrated BBA and MBA programme spans a duration of five years, consolidating both undergraduate and postgraduate business education into a streamlined curriculum. IP University has allocated 60 seats for this programme, aiming to cater to students aspiring for a seamless transition from undergraduate to postgraduate studies.

Admission Process

Admission to the integrated programme will be based on the entrance test conducted by IP University — BBA (CET code 125). Candidates who have qualified the CET for the BBA programme and have registered for online counselling, along with paying a counselling participation fee of INR 1,000, are eligible to participate in the counselling process for the integrated BBA-MBA programme.

Counselling Schedule

For the upcoming academic session, the second round of counselling for the BBA programme, where candidates can opt for the integrated BBA-MBA programme, will take place from July 11 to 14, 2024. This option is open to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria similar to that of the BBA programme.

The integrated BBA-MBA programme offers significant advantages to students. Firstly, it condenses the time required to earn both degrees to five years, compared to the traditional six-year timeline. Secondly, students are exempt from the need to take a separate entrance exam for admission to the MBA programme, streamlining the educational pathway and reducing redundancy.
