CAT 2024 answer key release
In an official notification released at IIMCAT website, the CAT examination authority has announced that the provisional answer key for CAT 2024 will be released on December 3, 2024. However, test takers have already download their CAT 2024 response sheets on November 29, 2024.
The official notification dated, November 29 says, “The release of the Provisional Answer Keys for CAT 2024 conducted on 24 November, 2024 is scheduled on 3 December, 2024.”
It further adds, “Candidates who have successfully completed the test shall be provided with the option to raise objections, if any, to the answer keys, through the Objection Management link on the CAT website (https://iimcat.ac.in), using the CAT application login id and password.”
The CAT 2024 answer key challenge window will be open from December 3, 2024 (6:00 pm to December 5, 2024 (11:55 pm).

Even though test takers could download their CAT 2024 response sheet from their dashboard on November 29, there was no official announcement for the same. Many candidates even reported that they cannot see their IIM CAT response sheet in their dashboard. The response sheet PDF carries, question wise correct answers and options selected by the candidate. The PDF helps candidates in estimating their raw CAT score. Now it remains to be seen IIM Calcutta releases the provisional CAT 2024 answer key in which format.
This years, CAT answer key and response sheet management system is a far departure from previous years, when the CAT response sheet release and answer key challenge process would start on the same day.
