SVKM NMIMS University PhD Admission Phase 2 Begins; Offers guaranteed scholarship of INR 2 Lakh

In a bid to further bolster research endeavors in the nation and encourage aspiring scholars, NMIMS University has announced a guaranteed scholarship of INR 2,00,000 for each student admitted to its PhD programs across nine diverse streams. Furthermore, full-time PhD students will receive fellowships in accordance with UGC guidelines.

SVKM’s NMIMS University has commenced the Phase 2 admission process for its PhD Programmes in 9 Streams. The institute also offers an Annual Scholarship of INR 2 Lakhs and fellowship for full time students.

SVKM’s NMIMS University has been a significant contributor to India's research landscape, boasting 8,123 research publications, out of which 5,245 are indexed in Scopus/Web of Science. Notably, the university has achieved a remarkable impact with its highest impact factor publication standing at 63. Additionally, NMIMS holds an impressive H-Index of 72 in Scopus and has garnered 41,200 citations. The institution has also secured research projects valued at INR 2,000 lakhs and has been granted 65 patents.

Last date to apply for 2nd phase Admission Process is June 23

The second phase of admissions to NMIMS’ PhD programs is now underway, with the deadline for applications set for June 23, 2024. The university offers doctoral programs in nine specialized streams, including Management, Engineering/Technology Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Science (Biological Sciences/Chemistry), Law, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, and Commerce. Over the years, NMIMS has conferred 308 PhD degrees, underscoring its commitment to fostering research excellence.
