AIIMS Delhi's committee to prepare road map for new cross-disciplinary Deptts

The new cross-disciplinary department is to be developed in various fields including Transplant Medicine, Medical Education, and Spiritual Medicine.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi is all set to create new cross-disciplinary departments.

"The undersigned has been regularly interacting with AIIMS faculty and external experts since the past one year. It has been repeatedly proposed by various faculty and experts that AIIMS New Delhi should create new cross disciplinary in various fields like - Transplant Medicine, Medical Education, and Spiritual Medicine, etc," said the office memorandum.

The committee has the following members - Dean (Academic) - Chairman, Dean (Research) - Member, Dean (Examinations) - Member, Associate Dean (Academics) - Member, and Registrar (AIIMS) - Member Secretary. The committee is requested to examine the matter in detail, consult with all relevant stakeholders and give its recommendations by October 31, 2023.

AIIMS Delhi to observe Vigilance Awareness Week 2023 from Oct 30 to Nov 5

In accordance with the instruction of the CVC, it has been decided to observe Vigilance Awareness Week in AIIMS, New Delhi from October 30, 2023, to November 5, 2023. The Vigilance Awareness Week would begin on Oct 30 at 11:00 AM with a pledge which would be taken by all the employees of the institute irrespective of their status. Details of other programs/activities to be undertaken during the week will be intimated separately, said the official statement.

The Director, AIIMS, would administer the pledge to all the Officials/Staff/working in the Establishment Section (DO), Finance Division, Engineering Services Department, Academic Section, Estate Section, General Section, Store Section (DO), Security Department and the Director Wing at P.C. Block Foyer.
