Assam NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 1 Registration Begins
Assam NEET PG 2024 counselling Round 1 registration process started on November 18, 2024. The last date to submit the registration form online is November 20, 2024, midnight. The Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam has released the complete schedule for Assam NEET PG counselling 2024 Round 1.
The counselling authorities have also released the revised Assam NEET PG 2024 state merit list. As many as 1,578 candidates have been included in the merit list. Only those candidates who have been featured in the merit list are eligible to participate in the Assam NEET PG 2024 counselling process.

Assam NEET PG counselling 2024 is being conducted for admission to 50 per cent Post Graduate seats in the Government Medical Colleges of Assam and B.B.C.I., Guwahati under Assam State Quota for session 2024. After verification of the documents the selected candidates shall have to get admitted in the respective allotted institutions. DME Assam will release the schedule for upcoming rounds in due course of time.

Q: Where can I register for Assam NEET PG counselling?
Q: What is the basic eligibility criteria for Assam NEET PG counselling?
Candidates should have qualified NEET PG with minimum cut off for Assam NEET PG counselling. The other eligibility criteria are given below:
Candidates must be the permanent resident of the State.
They should have an MBBS pass certificate from any college/institute/university affiliated with the Medical Council of India.
Candidates must have completed 1-year internship within the stipulated date as stated by NMC.
Candidates should have obtained a medical registration certificate from NMC or State Medical Council (SMC).
Q: How many rounds will be held in Assam NEET PG counselling?
Last year, a total of four rounds of Assam NEET PG counselling was held including mop up round. This year also it is expected that three to four rounds of counselling will be held. The actual number of rounds will depend on the number of vacant seats.
