Federation of Resident Doctors Association (FORDA) India has issued a release regarding the various doubts of PG medical aspirants and asked the concerned authorities to clarify the same.
FORDA INDIA tweet reads, "We request hon'ble authorities to clear all kind of doubts among PG aspirants regarding the upcoming entrance exam. Seeking clarification regarding upcoming examination."
FORDA also seeks clarification on NEXT examination
The official release by FORDA reads, "In a notification issued by the respected NMC under their section 15 (!) of the NMC ACt 2019, they had envisaged to organise a common undergraduate medical examination known as the National Exit Test (NEXT) for granting license to practice medicine and for enrolment in respective state medical registers/national medical register, as applicable. This was to be tentatively applied within three years from the date of commencement of the NMC act. However, since that notification, there has been no follow-up communication from either the NMC or NBE regarding the same."
The association has highlighted the stress faced by the PG medical aspirants in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic that created various hurdles for students from the postponement of NEET PG counselling in 2020 followed by delayed exam and counselling for NEET PG 2021 and the unexplained delays in NEET PG 2022 counselling schedule. FORDA India, through its release, has requested NMC/NBE to clarify all the doubts pertaining to this matter.
