FAIMA questions huge fees for NEET PG without giving facilities to examinees

After the National President of FAIMA India had raised the questions, now FAIMA (Federation of All India Medical Association) also said that huge charges for NEET PG without giving facilities to examinees is unfortunate.

FAIMA tweet reads, "It is very unfortunate that #NBEMS charges an exorbitant fee for NEET PG exam specifically, whereas no facilities is been given to examinees. We also want #NBEMS to release answer key immediately and maintain transparency."

Questions raised by FAIMA

FAIMA said they are getting complaints from NEET PG 2022 candidates who appeared for the examination held on May 21, 2022, about the poor management at the examination centres.

They faced the following problems - fans were not working in the scorching heat, there were poor sanitation facilities, the poor conduct of invigilators, electricity cut at the examination centre without any power backup. Centres didn't even provide water bottles.

"It is SHAMEFUL for the National Board of Examination (NBE) to charge such EXORBITANT FEES for merely appearing in an examination, and do not even provide water to students at such high temperatures," said the FAIMA statement.

The medical association has asked the responsible authorities to look into the matter soon and also provide clarifications on the same. FAIMA has also requested to release the answer key for the NEET PG 2022 examination soon.
