NBE has allowed two pregnant candidates of the NEET PG 2021 exam to change the examination centre.

On Thursday, the Supreme Court was informed that the National Board of Examination (NBE) has approved the request of two pregnant candidates for changing exam centre of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (NEET-PG 2021).

The petitioners who are in their seventh and eighth month of pregnancy had filed a plea in the apex court. The court heard the plea on Tuesday and had asked to list the matter first item on board on Thursday.

The doctors in their plea have sought direction to the NBE for allowing them to change the exam centre on the basis of their current locations. The court has disposed of the writ petition as the request of the petitioners have been granted by NBE, reported by Live Law.

There are many other NEET PG candidates also requesting NBE to change their test centres. These doctors were earlier allotted exam centres outside the state.

The NEET PG is all set to be conducted on September 11 and NBE is expected to release the NEET PG 2021 admit card soon on the official website nbe.edu.in.

The registration link for the NEET PG 2021 was activated on August 16 and candidates who completed their internship between July 1 to September 30 were allowed to register for the exam by August 25.

Nearly 1,74,886 candidates have registered online for the NEET PG 2021 exam and the exam will be conducted in 255 cities across India.
