NEET PG 2023 postponement: After the Twitter storm at 4 pm on February 3, 2023, now the doctors are going to protest at Jantar Mantar on February 7, 2023. The doctors have been demanding to defer the NEET PG 2023 exam by 6 to 8 weeks so that the candidates get sufficient time to prepare for the exam. Currently, NEET PG 2023 is all set to be held on March 5, 2023.

"We request all Doctors organisation to come along with in fight against issue of #NEETPG2023. We invite all of you to Join Protest at #JantarMantar on 7th Feb 10 AM!," tweeted FAIMA.

Earlier, FAIMA had written to the Deputy Commission Police, to seek permission for a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar.

"We tried our level best to communicate to Hon'ble Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya Ji regarding our concerns. We requested through official routes. But we were not given any support from Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya Ji which forced us to come to this step after this. We doctors on behalf of FAIMA want to peacefully protest on Jantar Mantar in around 100 numbers," reads the letter to DCP.

There is also a demand to revisit the already revised internship completion deadline for NEET PG 2023 as reportedly many interns are still ineligible for the upcoming exam.
