After FAIMA's delegation's constant efforts to meet the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya have failed, the association has now decided to first go for the Twitter storm, then protest at Jantar Mantar, followed by the shutdown of OPD services and a complete shutdown. There is a growing demand to defer the NEET PG 2023 exam by 6 to 8 weeks.

On January 31, the Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) delegation had a meeting with the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya to urge him for NEET PG 2023 postponement, but till now they could not meet the minister.

Now, FAIMA has decided to intensify the protest by first going for the Twitter storm, then protesting at Jantar Mantar, followed by the shutdown of OPD services and a complete shutdown.

The delegation was led by Dr Manish Jangra, Chief Advisor, Founder & Ex-General Secretary at FAIMA.

His tweet reads, "Now it is over! I thought we should go smoothly to get postpone done! I waited for 7 hours in @MoHFW_INDIA just to meet 5 min to @mansukhmandviya Ji as per confirmed by @ArohiPatel_IIS #APS I met #VaibhavBajaj #PSGRiyadhSeasonTeam, @jayendragosai1 PA, @ianilradadiya #APS !"

"One more suggestion- Please quote every tweet of @PMOIndia @narendramodi by tagging @mansukhmandviya @OfficeOf_MM This will create great impact! As @PMOIndia will also came to m know! Last time when we did we got call from @MoHFW_INDIA that please dont target @mansukhmandviya," he added.

Clarity on NEET PG 2023 postponement expected in a few days

Dr. Rohan Krishnan, National Chairperson of FAIMA tweeted, "Main Agenda is fix- Postponement of NEET PG. 2- Officials of @MoHFW_INDIA and Prez & Secretary of @IMAIndiaOrg r in constant touch and hopefully we wud clear d air in a day or two. 3- Aspirants must study, till March 5 is officially Postponed."

"4- What has happened with @FAIMA_INDIA_ representatives is not good. any commitments should be honoured by 

@OfficeOf_MM 5- Member Prliamnt cud be of any party but Health Minister is for all. 6- requesting @mansukhmandviya to take a call on postponement immediately.#NEETPG2023," he added through another tweet.
