NEET PG 2024 Application Fee Reduced by INR 750

FAIMA Chairman Dr Rohan Krishnan has thanked the government for reducing NEET PG 2024 Exam Fee by INR 750.

National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced a significant reduction in the NEET PG 2024 examination fee, benefiting all candidates by a reduction of INR 750. The policy to be effective from January 1, 2024.

NBE letter said, “In order to benefit to lakhs of candidates appearing in NBEMS examinations, NBEMS has decided to reduce the exam fee by INR 750 for each candidate.”

Any candidate submitting the NEET PG 2024 application form for the forthcoming examination after January 1, 2024, will be given the benefit of the fee reduction, added NBE.

While welcoming the decision, FAIMA Chairman Dr Rohan Krishnan has thanked the government and union health minister Mansukh Mandaviya.

“Good move and thanks to @NbeIndia & @MoHFW_INDIA @mansukhmandviya for reducing the fee of NEET PG examination. Also requesting to kindly make sure that proper arrangements at the examination centre is made. Clean toilets , drinking water , air conditioning. These are very important,” says his message on X.

NEET PG 2024 Revised Fee

The revised application fee for General and OBC category is INR 3500 and for SC, ST, and PWD, it is INR 2500. NEET PG 2024 exam will be held on July 7, 2024, for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma/DNB post-MBBS courses. The exam duration will be 3.5 hours. The total seats for Doctor of Medicine (MD) is 26,168, for Master of Surgery (MS), it is 13,649 and 922 PG for Diploma.
