NEET PG 2024 Case: Next Hearing Likely After October 14 as CJI Unavailable

The ongoing legal battle surrounding the NEET PG 2024 examination is facing further delays, as the Supreme Court of India has yet to set a date for the next hearing. According to Dr. Shubham Shukla, an X user tracking the case, the Ishika Jain vs National Board of Examination (Diary No. 41088/2024) case, originally scheduled for October 4, will not proceed as Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud will be unavailable. Additionally, the court will observe Dussehra holidays from October 7 to 12, making the next possible hearing date October 14 or later.

The petitioners have also called for the release of official answer keys and normalized scores, along with the establishment of a grievance portal to address student concerns.
