Advocate Anubha Shrivastava Sahai highlighted that the NMC had initially planned to hold the exam in July after conducting a survey of students to accommodate their preferences. However, the recent decision to reschedule the exam to June has left students feeling disturbed once again.

On social media platforms, candidates like Dr. Vivek Pandey questioned the rationale behind the constant changes in exam dates, emphasizing the disruption it causes to their preparation schedules. Dr. Abbas Ali argued that preponing the exam is as detrimental as postponing it, impacting the futures of thousands of aspiring doctors.

The revised timeline specified that the NEET PG 2024 exam results will be declared on July 15th, 2024, with counseling scheduled to commence from August 5th to October 15th, 2024. The academic session is set to commence on September 16th, with the last date for joining being October 21st, 2024.

Furthermore, the NMC has set August 15th, 2024, as the cutoff date for completion of internship to become eligible for NEET PG 2024.
