Resident doctors of government medical colleges across the nation are feeling huge work pressure due to delays in the NEET PG Counselling 2021 as they don't have the support of first-year PG students in hospitals.

This year, National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Postgraduate) (NEET-PG ) Counselling has met with unprecedented delay due to various reasons. Now, the resident doctors across the country are protesting and demanding immediate action on the NEET PG Counselling 2021 delay. They have withdrawn from Out Patient Department (OPD) and are on a nationwide strike.

On one hand, NEET PG aspirants are worried about their future due to the delay in admission and on another hand the resident doctors are overburdened as they do not have support from first-year students as they are yet to join and third-year students have already passed out.

Recently, the Centre has decided to again take a fresh look at the INR 8 lakh annual income criteria set for determining the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category in NEET Counselling and until the Centre comes up with a final decision on this, it has assured the Supreme Court that it will not conduct the NEET PG Counselling 2021.

Some of the tweets related to nationwide protest of doctors against delay in NEET PG Counselling 2021 are:
"Will only equipments do the job? There is such a big crisis of doctors in Government hospitals because of delay in NEET PG Counselling. People actually need to worry."

"Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital doctors protest against delay in NEET PG-2021 counselling
The doctors have withdrawn the OPD services from November 27."

"Resident #doctors of Safdarjung Hospital stage a #protest as part of a nationwide strike called by the Federation of Resident Doctors’ Association (FORDA) over the delay in #NEET-PG counseling 2021. #Delhi"

Patiala: Resident doctors of Government Rajindra Hospital, on Monday, staged a sit in outside the OPD ward - to mark a protest against untimely delay in NEET PG-2021 Counseling.
