Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced a total of 11,629 MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), PG Diploma, DNB (Diplomate of National Board) seats through NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 2.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 2 total seats and as per the announcement, there are 11,629 MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), PG Diploma, DNB (Diplomate of National Board) seats up for grab.

The registration for NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 2 has started on February 4 and the choice filling and locking would end on February 11, 2022. The seat allotment process for Round 2 will be done between February 13 to February 14 and the result will be declared on February 15. The selected candidates would be able to report to the allotted institutes between February 16 to February 22, 2022.

The last date of joining after completion of counselling processes including stray vacancy round is March 16 for AIQ seats and March 10 for the state counselling candidates. 

As per the NEET PG Counselling 2021 Round 2 seat matrix for candidates seeking admission to PG medical courses under AIQ quota this year, the maximum number of seats are in MD Anaesthesiology which is 900, in MD General Medicine, there are 723 seats and in General Surgery, there are 650 seats.

NEET PG Counselling 2021 is being conducted for admission to 50% All India Quota seats, 50% State Quota seats, Armed Forces Medical Services, Deemed Universities, Central Universities (DU, AMU, BHU), and ESIC colleges.
