MCC will conclude the national conversion facility for students who are willing to convert their nationality from Indian to NRI for round 1 NEET PG counselling 2024 for MD/ MS and Diploma courses. Students can check the conditions required to be met by the candidates applying for change in their category here. 

MCC NEET PG Counselling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conclude the NEET PG Counselling 2024 Nationality Conversion Facility tomorrow i.w.September 17, 2024. Candidates willing to get their nationality converted from Indian to NRI for round 1 NEET PG counselling 2024 can submit their applications before the deadline. The candidates are required to visit the MCC official website (mcc.nic.in) for complete information. Note that, Emails received before/ after the NEET PG counselling 2024 nationality conversion last date will not be considered. Candidates are advised to send all documents enclosed in a single mail only, within the stipulated time. 

NEET PG Counselling 2024: Eligibility for Nationality Conversion 

Students must adhere to the following conditions are required to be met by the candidates applying for change of their category (Indian to NRI):-
1. As per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and principles set out in Anshul Tomar (supra) case.

2. The Candidates applying for conversion are required to furnish the documents in the format provided in Annexure I which is available on the official website. 

Documents Required for Nationality Conversion Facility 

Students have to keep the following documents ready to complete NEET PG counselling 2024 eligibility for Nationality conversion: 

  • Documents claiming that the sponsorer is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsored)
  • Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders
  • Family Tree notarized by Tehsildar
  •  Affidavit from the sponsorer that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized
  • Embassy Certificate of the Sponsorer
  • NEET PG Score Card of the candidate
  • Any other document as requested.

Q: Β  Who will be eligible for NEET PG 2024 counselling rounds?

A:

Candidates who qualify NEET PG exam with minimum cutoff marks as decided by NBE will be eligible to participate in the counselling. The qualifying cut off varies as per the category. To participate in NEET PG 2024 counselling, candidates will have to register on the official website, mcc. Nic. In. They also have to fill choice for college and course and lock them in the given deadline. Seat allotment is done based on different factors such as choice declared, availability of seats in particular college and course, NEET PG rank etc.

Q: Β  I have registered for round 1 of NEET PG 2024 counselling. Should I register again for round 2/mop up round?

A:

No, online registration for NEET PG counselling is a one-time process. Those who have already registered once don't need to register again. Only those candidates who have not registered themselves during round 1 need to register for the round 2/mop-up round. Registration can be done in any round except last one on the official website. Mcc. Nic. In. Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for allotment of 50% All India Quota seats.

Q: Β  What is the last date to declare choices for NEET PG 2024 counselling round-3?

A:

January 1 was the deadline to declare preferences of choice for NEET PG 2024 round-3. Candidates have to login with registration ID and password to declare choices. It must be noted choice could be modified (edit/add/delete) any number of times till the deadline. Choices for NEET PG counselling must have to be saved and locked otherwise it gets automatically locked after the last date. Seat allotment result for NEET PG counselling round-3 will be declared on January 4, 2025.
