NEET PG: FAIMA writes to CM Yogi on issues faced by docs of Rama Medical College

PG students of the Rama Medical College Hapur are on strike for 3 days as they are in a state of panic and confusion about the affiliation of the university. FAIMA has approached the UP CM to intervene in this matter.

FAIMA has written to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adiyanath regarding the issue faced by the current postgraduate students of Rama Medical College, Hapur. 

The association has said that due to mismanagement of the college authorities, the affiliations of the college could not be done and neither were their protocols/thesis submitted to the respective university till the date of commencement of final year MD exams.

Due to the affiliation issue, the exam-going batch could not register themselves for the final year exam which was supposed to be on June 24, 2023. The affected PG students came to know about all this just a few days before their exams. They might lose an entire year if they are not allowed to write the exam on time which is itself a very huge blunder by the college authorities, said FAIMA.

"Residents after their dedication and hard work got admission in the college to fulfill their dream of having post graduate degree and serve the nation through NEET PG with proper counselling channel conducted by UPDGME still they are facing this trouble," said FAIMA.

Earlier FORDA also wrote to the health minister and urged urgent intervention in the matter of postgraduate students at Rama Medical College Hapur (UP) who are facing affiliation issues, thesis delays, and financial exploitation.
