The National Board of Education (NBE) is likely to announce the NEET PG result 2024 by August 25, 2024. The results will be announced on the official website in PDF format. The NEET PG results 2024 will contain the list of students who qualify the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG).
NEET 2024 merit list will also be released at nbe.edu.in consisting the roll number, marks secured, rank and other details of the students. Students must note that NEET 2024 result PDF will not be sent to any candidate personally and students have to download it from the NBE official website.
NEET PG Result 2024: Category-wise Cutoff
Along with the results, NBE will declare the NEET PG 2024 cutoff for all categories. The cutoff for NEET PG 2024 will highlight the minimum qualifying criteria in order to be considered eligible for admission. Till then students can check the NEET PG qualifying cutoff 2024. However, students must know that if the number of qualified NEET PG students are less than three times the number of seats, the NBE will revise the cutoff percentile

Based on the NEET PG 2024 results, a merit list will be released for 50% All India Quota seats. NEET PG scores will be valid for admission to 13,886 Master of Surgery (MS), 26,699 Doctor of Medicine (MD), and 922 PG Diploma seats. Students who secure marks over and above the NEET PG 2024 cutoff will be considered eligible for the NEET PG 2024 counselling process for seat allotment. NEET PG 2024 counselling for 50% AIQ and 50% state quota seats will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

Q: What are the qualifying cut off for NEET PG?

Q: Does NBE reduces NEET PG cut off in any case?
Yes. NBE reduces NEET PG cut off in case seats remain vacant after counseling rounds. Reducation of cut off makes more number of candidates eligible to participate in the counselling who were earlier ineligible due to low score. For 2023-24 session, NBE had reduced cut off to zero for all category. For 2022-23 session, the cut off was reduced by 25 percentile for each category. Q: Who releases cut off for NEET PG?
National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases cut off for NEET PG. It must be noted the cut off is releases along with NEET PG result. Candidates have to score minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum cut off is different for different category. For the general category, the minimum qualifying cut off is 50 percentile marks while for SC/ST, the qualifying cut off is 40. The cut off depends on a number of factors including the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appeared etc.

According to the revised schedule, candidates who will be completing their internship by mid August will be eligible for NEET PG 2024 exam. Exact cut off date for NEET PG 2024 is August 15, 2024.
