As the NEET PG 2023 exam is nearing on March 5, 2023, the protest to demand exam postponement has intensified. After a protest by doctors at Jantar Mantar on February 7, 2023, now more than 7200 aspirants have signed the online petition to demand exam deferment.

The protest to demand NEET PG 2023 postponement has intensified. Over 7200 aspirants have signed the online petition on Change.org to urge exam deferment. 

The online petition reads, “If we give exam on 5th March and counselling happens in August..then we have to idly waste our 5 to 6 months, that is almost half a year. This will cause injustice to us and we will lose our valuable time.”

“..Instead of wasting our time waiting for 5-6 months,we want to utilise it studying so that by mere postponing exam, counseling can be held within 1month,” it added.

The demand for an extension of the NEET PG 2023 internship deadline has been fulfilled by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) as the internship completion cut-off has been extended to August 11, 2023. Also, NBE has reopened the application window from today, February 9, 2023, to February 12, 2023.

The aspirants have been demanding exam postponement on Twitter. Some of the related tweets are:

"Kindly give decision of #NEETPG2023 postpone. This is high time of ignorance only 24 days left for the exam. Kindly clarify all the chaos due to all late announcement. Post pone exam to June or July," says one of the tweet.

Another tweet says, "1st we had to fight tooth n nail 4 eligibility n now for such logical demands .Sometimes I have panic attacks and cry alone in my room Bren postings . Idk wats gng 2 hapn or wat I’ll do if I don’t get my dream seat or any seat . I can’t afford pvt colleges fees .#NEETPG2023."
