Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2024: Special Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling Begins Today; Know Seat Allotment Date

Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 Special Stray Vacancy Round Choice Filling process will be ongoing till November 28, 2024, followed by the announcement of seat allotment results on November 29, 2024. 

Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) Chennai has announced the stray vacancy round counselling dates for admission to MBBS, BDS course in Tamil Nadu Government Medical / Dental Colleges, Government & Management Quota (Including NRI Lapsed) seats in Self Financing Medical / Dental Colleges.

As per the schedule, the Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2024 choice filling and locking process will be ongoing till November 28, 2024 (5 PM). Students having GQ rank between 001 to 28819 or MQ rank between 001 to 13417 can complete their preference filling in online mode from the candiate portal. However, only students who have completed the counselling registration and made payment of the registration fee are eligible for the TN NEET UG choice filling and locking process.

Students who are willing to retain their seat, which has been allotted in the previous round of counselling are not required to participate in the stray vacancy round counselling process.

The students applying for the SVR counselling process have to pay an additional security deposit amounting to INR 5 Lakh for the MBBS programme and INR 2 Lakh for the BDS programme in online mode. The additional security money paid will be non-refundable in case the student does not join the respective college after the seat allotment.
