The last round of counselling for admission to postgraduate medical/dental courses offered by the colleges in Uttar Pradesh is being held online from July 23. Know the dos and don’ts for the mop-up round of UP NEET PG counselling here.

UP NEET PG Counselling mop up round guidelines

The last round of UP NEET PG counselling 2020 will begin from July 23. The mop-up round of UP NEET PG 2020 counselling will be conducted offline. Admission to the available courses will be on-spot upon payment of full fees. However, only those candidates who had registered for the mop-up round of UP PG medical counselling will be eligible to attend the admission process.

Candidates must note that admission to both government and private medical/dental colleges will be through UP PG medical 2020 counselling. The counselling for government and private colleges will be held on different dates. Candidates must check the dates for the respective institutes/courses before reporting to the UP NEET PG 2020 counselling venue.

UP NEET PG Counselling 2020: Important Instructions

  • Candidates who wish to participate in the mop-up round of UP NEET PG 2020 counselling have to report to the Academic block, Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow on the designated date and time
  • The reporting time for UP PG medical counselling 2020 is 10 am
  • Candidates who were allotted a seat in the previous rounds of UP NEET PG counselling 2020 are not eligible for the mop-up round
  • Candidates who have joined the seats allotted to them through the AIQ NEET PG counselling 2020 are not eligible for the mop-up round
  • Candidates must carry all the certificates in original on the day of counselling. They must also carry two self-attested copies of these documents
  • Candidates who have deposited the security fee during the previous rounds of counselling but were not allotted a seat in them are not required to deposit the fee again
  • All other candidates must carry a Demand Draft for the payment of the security fee, as applicable, drawn in favour of Director General Education and Training, U.P payable at Lucknow
    • Security Fee
      • For government medical/dental seats: Rs 30,000
      • For private medical seats: Rs 2,00,000
      • For private dental seats: Rs 1,00,000
  • The remaining tuition fee has to be paid on allotment of the seat. Candidates are required to carry the Demand Draft for payment of the tuition fee, as applicable
    • Tuition fee
      • Clinical seat in private college: Rs 14,00,000
      • Pathology seat in private college: Rs 5,00,000
      • Seat in a dental college: Rs 2,00,000
  • All candidates must complete the admission process on the same day before leaving the college premises
