West Bengal NEET PG 2024 round 1 seat allotment result is now available at wbmcc.nic.in including the names and details of candidates provisionally selected for admission to MD or MS programme at state quota reserved seats across West Bengal state. 

WB NEET PG Counselling 2024

West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has announced the WB NEET PG seat allotment result 2024 for round 1 admissions at the official website. Students who have participated in the WB NEET PG round 1 counselling process 2024 can now check their allocation status through seat allotment results. 

WBMCC has announced the list of provisionally selected candidates for admission to the state quota, private management quota and NRI quota MD/ MS/ DnB Degree and Diploma programme based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate scores. Students who have been named in the WB NEET PG seat allotment pdf 2024 have to login to their candidate portal and download their allotment letter. The WB NEET PG seat allotment letter 2024 is an important document to carry at the respective institute along with other documents. The selected students will have to report to the allotted institute to complete the admission process on November 28, 29 and December 2 and 3, 2024. Students who will not complete the admission formalities will not be considered for admission purposes.

Q:   What is the process to participate in West Bengal NEET PG counselling?

A:

To participate in WB NEET PG counselling, individual eligible and qualified candidate can do Online Registration and follow the process mentioned below:

  • Fill out online application 
  • Online Fee Payment 
  • Candidate Profile letter generation 
  • Physical document verification at verification venue mentioned in the candidate profile letter (Swasthya Bhavan for NRI candidates only) as designated by NIC software 
  • Publication of successfully verified list
  • Exercise Choice filling and Choice locking
  • Participate in Seat allotment by the Software as per Inter se merit
  • Another Round of Physical Document Verification at the Allotted College Level
  • Admission at the Allotted College Level, during Round 1 of the Counseling.

Q:   Is physical document verification mandatory for WB NEET PG counselling?

A:

As per the guidelines issued by WBMCC, if any candidate if fails to attend the physical document verification which is mandatory for all registered candidates, will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process for the current round as well as subsequent round (s) unless they make the fee payment again and generate the candidate profile for the next round of WB NEET PG counselling.

Q:   What is the seat surrender policy of West Bengal NEET PG counselling?

A:

The seat surrender of the admitted candidate during the process of Round 1 admission is allowed without any penalty money. The seat surrender of the admitted candidate during the process of Round 2 admission is allowed but with forfeiture of admission fees. The seat surrender is not allowed from Round 3 counseling any further till the counseling process is over. The seat surrender with payment of bond penalty is possible only after the counseling of all rounds is over for the session 2023-24.
