NEET PG, MDS counselling 2022 registration commences today at mcc.nic.in
Medical Counselling Committee has started the NEET PG 2022 and MDS counselling registration today, apply at mcc.nic.in.
NEET PG 2022 and MDS counselling have started today, September 15, at the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee - mcc.nic.in.
The counselling is for admission to MD (Doctor of Medicine), MS (Master of Surgery), DNB (Diplomate of National Board) and MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) courses. There will be four rounds of All India Quota (AIQ) counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round.
Steps to register for NEET PG Counselling 2022 Round 1
Follow these steps to register for NEET PG Counselling 2022 Round 1:
- Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee - www.mcc.nic.in
- Click on the 'PG Medical Counselling' section on the homepage.
- Click on the link for registration on the screen
- Enter the necessary information and register.
- Login and fill out the application form
- Upload required documents, pay the registration fee and submit the form.
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
All NEET PG 2022 candidates who have qualified for AIQ seats on the basis of their rank in NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE) will be eligible for participation in the counselling process. Eligible candidates may download the rank letter/ result from NBE's website. The cut-off rank of eligible candidates will also be available on the MCC website (www.mcc.nic.in), stated the Information Bulletin.
The counselling will be for the 50% AIQ seats and 100% Deemed/Central Universities/AFMS/PG DNB seats in 2022 and the last date to register for NEET PG Counselling 2022 Round 1 will be September 23, 2022.
The counselling for 50% AIQ is domicile free. Open seats-domicile free includes 50% All India Quota seats, 50% Seats of BHU, 50%Seats of AMU, 50% All India Quota seats of DU/Central Institutes (VMMC & SJH, ABVIMS & RML, ESIC, Basaidarapur), 100% DNB.
The Stray Vacancy round will be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which a list of students in order of merit, equaling ten times the number of vacant seats will be forwarded to the Deemed Universities for the Stray Vacancy round.
