AIIMS Nursing 2020 registration and application process ends today (January 16, 2020). The registration window is open till 5:00 PM today.

AIIMS Nursing 2020 application forms process will be concluded on January 16, 2020 (today), candidates can apply till 5:00 PM. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), the conducting body for AIIMS Nursing 2020 exam had started accepting the applications from December 12, 2019 via PAAR. All India Institute of Medical Sciences offers programmes in nursing at both level, Undergraduate and Post Graduate level.

The first process is under PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) system which is newly launched procedure by AIIMS and the other is via basic registration followed by Generation of Code and Final Registration.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi offers programmes like B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing, B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic). Graduation in Nursing or B. Sc. (Bachelor of Science) in Nursing is a four-year professional course.

AIIMS also offers M.Sc. Nursing programme which is a masters level programme and the candidates should comply the relevant eligibility criteria set by the conducting body. Eligibility criteria for M.Sc. Nursing at AIIMS is: 

  • Applicants should hold a degree in B. Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic /B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) course from any recognized University or an educational institution Recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60 percent marks for Gen/EWS/OBC candidates (55 percent marks for SC/ST category candidates).
  • Registration as a Nurse, RN (Registered Nurse), RM (Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.
  • All applicant who have applied earlier and whose Basic Registration have been accepted for 2019 Session are also eligible for Generation of code for Final Registration and they do not require filling the Basic Registration again.

How to apply for AIIMS Nursing 2020?

AIIMS Nursing 2020 (B. Sc.) application form filling process is divided in two stages which uses the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system, newly introduced system by All India Institute of Medical Sciences.

Both the stages are equally important and candidates should not miss out on any of the two stages. The two stages are

  • Stage 1: Basic Registration
  • Stage 2: Final Registration

Stage 1: Basic Registration

The first stage is the Basic Registration stage in which the candidates are required to furnish their personal details such as name, date of birth, email id (for communication purpose), mobile number (to send information and code via SMS) and then the scanned passport-size photo and scanned image of signature and thumb impression. After providing the details post the submission, the candidates will receive a registration ID and a password to conclude the Basic Registration process. Candidates are advised to keep the registration ID and password safe for future use.

Stage 2: Final Registration

After the successful submission and acceptance of the Basic Registration form, candidates will be able to generate a code and pay the application fee. Candidates won’t be able to proceed for the final registration process without generating the code. In the final registration stage the candidates have to provide their academic details and submit the choice of the city as the exam centre.

AIIMS Nursing 2020 application fee can be paid via online mode using Debit/Credit card or Net banking.

AIIMS 2020 Nursing Application Fee

The first stage which is the basic registration stage has no applicable fee. The final registration stage requires the candidate to pay a sum of non-refundable and non-transferable amount. Below is the category wise application fee

Candidates are required to keep the following documents and information ready while filling the AIIMS Nursing 2020 Application Form

  • Valid mobile number
  • Valid e-mail ID
  • A valid credit/debit card and Net banking details
  • Passport size photograph
  • Scanned image of signature
  • Scanned image of thumb impression
  • Category certificate (For SC/ST/PwD category)
  • Qualifying exam mark sheet or the degree
