IES 2024 Result Expected Soon @upsc.gov.in

UPSC conducted the Engineering Service Exam(ESE) prelims exam on February 18, 2024. The Commission can release the result anytime now at the official website - upsc.gov.in. Read here for more details.

UPSC Engineering Service Exam(ESE) prelims exam was held on February 18, 2024. Now, the Union Public Service Commission is expected to release the IES 2024 result at any time on the official website - upsc.gov.in.

UPSC IES 2024 result pdf will include the roll number and the names of the qualified candidates. Those who will clear the Prelims exam will be called for the IES main exam 2024 which will be conducted on June 25, 2024, across the nation. 

IES Cutoff 2024: The Commission is expected to release the IES Cutoff 2024 within a week of the declaration of the final result (next year). The cut off is likely to remain low. 

UPSC released the IES 2024 notification on September 6, 2023, as per the scheduled dates. The last date to apply for the IES 2024 was September 26, 2023. UPSC activated the UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 applications with the release of official notification. 

IES 2024 posts include - Category I—Civil Engineering, Category II— Mechanical Engineering, Category III- Electrical Engineering, Category IV- Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. 

Union Public Service Commission notified 167 vacancies for the IES 2024 exam which is the lowest in recent years.

The upper age limit of 30 years is relaxable up to 35 years with government servants serving in the following categories - Ministry of Railways, Directorate General Ordnance Factories ( IOFS Group ‘A’), Central Electricity Authority, and others.
