IES 2024 Result Expected Today @upsc.gov.in; Know Updates

UPSC is expected to release the IES 2024 result today at the official website - upsc.gov.in. The Commission conducted the Engineering Service Exam(ESE) prelims exam on February 18, 2024. 

Union Public Service Commission is expected to release the IES 2024 result today. The UPSC Engineering Service Exam(ESE) prelims exam was held on February 18, 2024. Once the result is released, the candidates will be able to see the results at the official website- upsc.gov.in.

IES result PDF will include the qualified candidates' names and roll numbers. The selected candidates will be eligible to appear for the IES main exam 2024 which will be conducted on June 23, 2024, across the nation.

UPSC released the IES 2024 notification on September 6, 2023. The Commission notified 167 vacancies for the IES 2024 exam which is the lowest in recent years. The IES 2024 posts include - Category I—Civil Engineering, Category II— Mechanical Engineering, Category III- Electrical Engineering, and Category IV- Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. 

Steps to Check IES Result 2024

After the UPSC releases the results, the candidates must follow these steps to check the results:

Step 1: Go to the official website of UPSC

Step 2: On the right-hand side, go to the What's new section.

Step 3: Click on the UPSC ESE (IES) final result 2024 link

Step 4: The UPSC ESE (IES) Final Result 2024 PDF will appear on the screen

Step 5: Search your roll number in the PDF result

Step 6: Download the UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 final Result PDF for future reference

IES 2024 Cutoff

UPSC is expected to release the IES 2024 cutoff soon after the results are announced. The cut-off is expected to remain low. The Commission will release the Category-wise Cutoff for all the streams soon on its official website.
