SSC CGL 2023 Postponed: Check New Exam Dates Here

SSC CGL 2023 has been postponed in some regions due to heavy rains and floods. The SSC NWR has already postponed the exam in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Due to heavy rains and floods, it would be very difficult to appear in the Northern Indian States such as Punjab, Uttarakhand, New Delhi and some parts of Uttar Pradesh. SSC CGL 2023 Postponed: SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2023 started today at 9.00 AM amid the expectation to postpone the exam. There are heavy rains and flood-like situations across the Northern region and it would be very difficult to reach the SSC CGL exam centre because of the collapse of public transport at various places. The candidates were demanding the SSC CGL 2023 exam on twitter but the Staff Selection Commission is yet to release any official notice regarding this.

As per the current situation, there were rains in the last three to four days and whole of the Northern India is reeling under floods. There is a flood-like situation in New Delhi too. All the areas adjoining the Yamuna and its tributaries are flooded with river water and road transportation is stopped permanently and the boats are plying in the low-lying areas in New Delhi.

In New- Delhi, some of the Metro stations were closed due to the water logging issue. The main areas of New Delhi are under floods and it will be impossible to commute to the SSC CGL exam centre. 

The same situation is prevailing in Himachal Pradesh and at some places in Haryana. The Central government and state government have deployed the teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) in their areas. All the state government has closed the schools till the situation normalises.

SSC NWR CGL 2023 Postponed

But the Staff Selection Commission is yet to release any notice to postpone the SSC CGL 2023 exam. We should wait for the Commission’s official communication to know the official take on this issue.
