Filling out the UGC NET application is divided into five stages: registration form, application form, image & signature upload, application fee, and confirmation page. The candidates have to fill out the complete application to get the hall ticket for the UGC NET exam.

NCERT books can be beneficial for the aspirants in the initial days of preparation, especially for paper 1. However, NCERT will not cover all the topics in detail. In the UGC NET exam, the 99 percentile refers to the top 1 per cent of candidates who have appeared for the exam. In other words, if a candidate has scored in the 99th percentile, it means that they have performed better than 99 per cent of the candidates who appeared for the exam. The percentile score is a measure of how well a candidate has performed relative to other candidates who have taken the exam. It is calculated by comparing the candidate's score with the scores of all the candidates who have appeared for the exam. 

The difficulty level of the UGC NET exam may vary from subject to subject and from one exam cycle to another. However, in general, the UGC NET exam is considered to be a moderately difficult exam that tests the candidates' knowledge, comprehension, analytical and reasoning abilities, and research aptitude. 

The UGC NET confirmation page is important because it serves as proof of the successful submission of the application form. The confirmation page also contains the photograph and signature of the candidate, which are uploaded during the application process. As per Deepak Saini, the routine was intense. He dedicated about 14 hours daily, balancing both UPSC and UGC-NET preparation. Yes, NTA offers a one-time facility to candidates for correction of the UGC NET application form. 

According to him, he started with library study sessions from 8 AM to 12 PM, then joined Adda247 classes from 12 PM to 3 PM. Then, three hours of self-study from 4 PM to 7 PM, followed by evening revision till 10 PM to reinforce his learning.

There is no time gap between the UGC NET Paper 1 and Paper 2 exam. The UGC NET exam is conducted in two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is common for all candidates and consists of 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 2 marks each. It tests the candidate's teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness. Paper 2 consists of questions based on the subject chosen by the candidate and consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) of 2 marks each. The time duration of the UGC NET exam is of 3 hours and there not gaps between these papers. The candidates have to take the exam in one go. However, there is no time limit for completing Paper 1 or Paper 2 exam.
