The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the CSIR UGC NET result 2020 today, December 29. Along with the result, NTA has also released the final CSIR NET answer key 2020. Candidates can check the CSIR NET result and answer key on the official website of the exam.

This year, total 2,62,692 candidates registered for the CSIR NET 2020 exam out of which 1,71,273 aspirants appeared. Details on the number of candidates passed is yet to be released by NTA.

What after CSIR NET Result 2020?

Now that the result is out, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) will release the CSIR NET 2020 cutoff and merit list soon. Also, in due course NTA will issue the CSIR NET eligibility certificate and JRF award letter to all the qualifying candidates. Candidates can then start applying for recruitment as Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges. Those qualifying the exam for JRF can start pursuing research in their chosen subject.
