SSC JE 2023 Exam: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) changed the marking scheme for the SSC Junior Engineer's exam on September 18, 2023. The change was announced through a notification PDF that comprised the new negative marking scheme for the SSC JE exam on SSC's official website.nic.in. Earlier, the negative marking scheme was the same for both papers in which one-third of the correct marks were deducted as a penalty for the incorrect answers. Now Paper 1 will have 0.25 marks as a deduction for the incorrect answer, the Paper 2 will have a 1-mark deduction as the penalty for an incorrect answer.
