UGC NET 2024 Dec Session Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC NET day 2 exam from today: January 6, 2025. As per the schedule released, the UGC NET Dec session day 2 exam shift 1 will be held for: Computer Science and Applications, Persian, Russian, Bengali, Chinese, Rajasthani and Arab Culture and Islamic Studies.

Whereas UGC NET 2025 shift 2 exam (3 to 6 PM) will be conducted for Political Science and Comparative Literature. The UGC NET 2024 examination for 85 subjects is scheduled to take place on January 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, and 16. Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

UGC NET 2024 Exam Jan 6 Instructions

While going for the exam, candidates must follow the below-mentioned UGC NET guidelines:

• Candidates must ensure they carry a hard copy of the UGC NET admit card to the exam centre. UGC NET 2024 admit cards are available for download from the official NTA website
• They must also carry at least 2 passport size photographs (as uploaded on the UGC NET application form)
• Reach the exam centre at least one hour before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card to avoid last-minute hassles.
• Mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, or any other electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall
• Wear comfortable and simple clothing. Avoid wearing items with large buttons, jewellery, or any metallic accessories, as they are restricted

What to Carry at UGC NET 2024 Exam Jan 6

Candidates appearing for the exam must check below the list of items that they need to carry at the UGC NET 2024 exam centre:

• Admit Card: A printed copy is mandatory for entry.
• Valid ID Proof: Carry a government-issued ID such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License.
• Photograph: Bring a passport-sized photograph, preferably the same as the one uploaded during the application process.
• Stationery: Candidates must carry a transparent ballpoint pen and may bring a transparent water bottle.
