UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024: Correction window to open today @upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission is all set to open the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 correction window today.

The correction window will open on March 7, 2024, and will close on March 13, 2024. The link to make changes in the UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 application form will be available on the official window - upsc.gov.in.

“Correction window to modify the entries (including Photograph/Signature) made by the applicant in their application for CS (P)/IFoS (P) Exam 2024 will be available on Commission's portal www.upsconline.nic.in from 7th March to 13th March 2024”, reads the official notice.

The candidates who want to make changes in the OTR profile during this period should log in to the OTR platform and do the needful accordingly. After this period, the candidates will not be able to make any changes to the OTR profile.

UPSC UPSC Prelims exam 2024 is all set to be held on May 26, 2024. The Commission had notified 1056 vacancies for the UPSC 2024 exam. UPSC mentioned the vacancies, dates, eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern and the rules and regulations for the exam. UPSC admit card 2024 is all set to be released on May 1, 2024. 

This year, UPSC also modified the requirement of a photo which was required to be uploaded in the UPSC application form. As per the modification, the photograph of the candidate should not be older than 10 days from the date of submission of the application. The candidates will be required to mention the date of photo on the photograph which was not the case earlier. Also, the face of the candidates must acquire 3/4 of the photograph.
