UPSC CSE 2024: The Union Public Service Commission has introduced some changes in the candidates' photo uploading process. Candidates must know about these changes before applying for the examination which is all set to be held on May 26, 2024.

Following are the changes introduced in the photograph uploading process:

  • Candidates should ensure that the photograph that they have uploaded should not be more than 10 days old from the start of the online application process (i.e. the application commencement date).
  • The name of the candidate and the date on which the photograph was taken should be clearly mentioned on the photograph.
  • Candidates should choose a photograph where the candidate’s face occupies 3/4th of the space in the photograph.
  • Also, their appearance must match with their photograph at each stage of the Examination Process (i.e Preliminary, Main, Interview/Personality Test). 

Through, UPSC CSE 2024 notification, the Commission notified a total of 1056 vacancies for the UPSC 2024 exam. The last date for candidates to submit their online applications is March 5, 2024. The UPSC admit card 2024 will be released online on May 1, 2024. 

To apply for UPSC CSE 2024, the candidates must be graduates of a recognised university. There are no minimum percentage criteria for the candidates. They should be in an age group between 21 to 32 years.
