UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 Result Expected SOON; See Here Details

The Commission conducted the Engineering Service Exam(ESE) prelims exam on February 18, 2024. Now, it can release the UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 result at any time on the official website - upsc.gov.in. 

The Commission will release the results in PDF format where the candidates will be able to check their roll numbers and names. To check and download the UPSC ESE (IES) 2024 result, the candidates need to log in to the official website.

Steps to check UPSC ESE Prelims Result 2024

After the UPSC will upload the results on the official website, the candidates must do the following

Step 1: Go to UPSC's official website - upsc.gov.in

Step 2: Look for the "Engineering Services (Prelims) Exam 2024" option and click on it.

Step 3: "List of Candidates Eligible for the Mains Examination 2024" will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Search for your roll number to know if you have qualified for the examination or not.

On September 6, 2023, UPSC notified a total of 167 vacancies for the IES Exam 2024. Those who will be selected in the preliminary exam for the Engineering Service Exam (ESE) will be the ones who will be called for the UPSC ESE Mains 2024. The Mains exam is scheduled to be held on June 23, 2024.

Following the result declaration, the Commission will announce the UPSC ESE Prelims 2024 cutoff. The cutoff will be announced for the Civil, Mechanical, electrical, Electronics, and Telecom Engineering. The selected candidates in the preliminary rounds must score equivalent or more than the cutoff to be selected for the UPSC ESE Mains 2024 round.
