CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 admit card will be released on July 31. Dr M Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman, UGC, has been quoted as stating the date by a news agency. The exam for the second phase will be conducted between August 5 and August 20.
NTA had stated that to avoid a clash with the NEET UG exam on July 17, exams for the Science subjects such as Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be scheduled in the second phase. “Candidates who have opted for Physics, Chemistry or Biology have been taken to Phase II, keeping in view the NEET (UG) - 2022 being held on 17 July 2022 (Sunday),” NTA said.
Earlier, Dr Kumar had announced the CUET UG 2022 exam to be conducted over a window of July 15 and August 10. However, as per the latest notification by NTA, it has been announced that the last date of the exam is August 20.
As many as 14,90,000 candidates have applied for CUET 2022 out of which 8,10,000 candidates are in the first slot and 6,80,000 candidates are in the second slot. “These candidates have applied for 54,555 unique combination of subjects across 90 Universities,” stated NTA.
On July 11, NTA had released the advance information on CUET 2022 exam centre wherein candidates can check their individual exam date and slot, along with the exam centre city. The CUET 2022 Phase 1 admit card is scheduled to be released on July 12.
