IIT JAM 2024 Registrations Closing Today; Apply at jam.iitm.ac.in
IIT JAM 2024 Application Form Updates: IIT Madras, the examination conducting body for JAM 2024 examination will be closing the online registration today, October 13, 2024. Interested applicants can visit the official website of IIT JAM 2024 i.e., https://joaps.iitm.ac.in/ to register themselves first. After the basic regisatrion is done, then only candidates can move to other steps of JAM 2024 Application Form.
The Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Madras opened the JOAPS portal for the online application form of IIT JAM 2024 examination on September 5, 2023. Aspirants preparing for IIT JAM 2024 examination to pursue MSc courses are advised to check the minimal eligibility criteria before applying for the JAM Application form. IIT JAM 2024 for the academic session 2024-2025 will be conducted by IIT Madras, the examination conducting body on February 11, 2024. Aspirants who had already completed an undergraduate degree (BSc) or are currently studying in the final year of undergraduate programmes are eligible to apply for the exam.

How to fill IIT JAM 2024 application form?
- Go to the official website, jam2024.iitm.ac.in
- On the homepage, navigate and click on the IIT JAM 2024 link to register
- Candidates will be redirected to JOAPS portal.
- Enter the basic details to register yourselves
- Fill the application form and upload the documents
- Choose the test papers and pay the application fee
- Save the form and take a print out for future reference
IIT JAM 2024 Application Fee
No application will be accepted without IIT JAM 2024 application fee. The application fee for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST,) and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) categories and female candidates is INR 900. Whereas, all other applicants will be required to pay INR 1,800.
IIT JAM 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Prior to filling the IIT JAM 2024 application form, aspirants must ensure that they fulfil the IIT JAM 2024 eligibility criteria.
- In order to fulfil the IIT JAM 2024 eligibility criteria, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates who had appeared or will appear for their graduation exams in 2024 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof by September 2024.
- For the admission process, candidates who would pass the IIT JAM 2024 exam will be eligible to apply for the admission process.
Till the year 2021, the eligibility criteria for IIT JAM stated that candidates should secure a minimum 55 per cent aggregate or 5.5 CGPA/CPI out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL)/EWS category candidates and 50 per cent aggregate or 5.0 CGPA/CPI for the reserved category candidates. However, from 2022 onwards, this criterion was relaxed. Now, applicants will have to get a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject, and no eligibility cutoff is there.
