 IIST released the JEST provisional answer key in online mode. Applicants are advised to check the answer key and calculate their marks. If they find any issue with answers, raise the objections mentioned in the notification.

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) released JEST 2024 answer key on the official website on March 5, 2024. The answer key is released for Physics Subject in the PDF file. The JEST answer keys 2024 are provisional.

 The JEST 2024 exam was conducted for 100 marks in three parts. Authority found that one question from Part B of 3 marks was not correctly mentioned in the question paper hence that question is withdrawn and marks for that question will be provided to all the students who appeared in the exam. 

Applicants are advised to raise objections to those questions in which they find that answers provided by the authority are not apt. But before sending email candidates are advised to ensure that 

  1. Email needs to be done from the email id registered during JEST form filling. 
  2. Email will be accepted from those applicants who appeared in the JEST 2024 exam. 
  3. Students can challenge the answers provided by the authority till March 6, 2024 (up to 11:59 PM). 

Procedure to Challange JEST Answer Key

Step 1: Applicants need to send an email to “info.jest2024@iist.ac.in” for their objections. 

Step 2: The subject line in the email will be “Question challenge”

Step 3: Students need to mention their name and roll number in the email

After taking inputs from the applicants IIST will consider and evaluate them and accordingly, they will release the JEST final answer key in due course of time. Further to this authority will prepare the JEST result 2024 based on the final answer key only.  

JEST Expected Cutoff 

This year's exam was conducted for 100 marks hence after taking inputs from the students, the expected JEST cutoff is mentioned below:
