Rockwell Automation Partners with Mahindra University to Train Students in Sustainability Best Practices

Mahindra University is aiming to develop a comprehensive ‘Climate Solutions’ programme curriculum to educate students about key sustainability concepts, practical applications and methodologies in collaboration with Rockwell Automation 

Mahindra University has signed a Memorandum of Association (MoU) with Rockwell Automation, Inc. (NYSE: ROK) to train students in areas of sustainability best practices. Rockwell Automation is among the top organisations dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation. With an initiative to develop a collaborative framework for enhancing the comprehensive ‘Climate Solutions’ course, Mahindra University and Rockwell Automation have joined hands. 

Goal of Mahindra University MoU with Rockwell Automation

 The goal is to provide students with aptitudes and proficiency in sustainability best practices. The alliance between Rockwell Automation and Mahindra University will include the expansion of a comprehensive curriculum, specially crafted to possess fundamental sustainability concepts, procedures, and practical applications. 

Dynamic Learning with Latest Online Resources

The initiative will enclose dynamic learning materials, from conventional textbooks to the latest online resources and pledge multimedia scope. 

“It is imperative that the future workforce keeps sustainability at the helm of everything they do.  Our partnership with Rockwell Automation reinforces our commitment to advancing sustainability education and is an important step towards equipping the next generation of leaders with the expertise and technical skills to address some of the greatest challenges facing our planet.” The officials said. 

The partnership will set up a climate solutions laboratory to offer hands-on experience with advanced technologies for students. It further will focus on sustainability issues, fostering creation and practical solutions. 

Further, real-world case students and industry insights into teaching, its applicability and relevance will be an integral part of this collaboration. Finally, the prospect of conducting workshops, conferences and events in collaboration with Rockwell Automation on sustainability topics will enable students to gain profound knowledge of enriching the educational experience and let them be the sustainable leaders of the future.
