Several students have taken to social media demanding revision of RRB NTPC CBT 1 2021 result, declared on January 14. Read this article below to read the complete details.

Candidates who have appeared in RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 1 exam are demanding that Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) should revise the result of the said exam. Dissatisfied with the RRB NTPC CBT 1 result, candidates have taken to protests. There has been an incessant display of outrage on social media sites regarding the revision of results. #RRBNTPC_Scam and #RRBNTPC_1student_1result trended on social media. It has also been reported that some candidates have also taken to blockading trains in certain regions.

RRB NTPC 2021 CBT 1 result was announced on January 14. Candidates alleged a scam in the result and are demanding the revised results. Candidates claim that RRBs have selected fewer candidates and a single candidate has been selected for multiple posts. The cutoffs are also high this time. Students claim that most of the seats, even those which had Class 12 as eligibility have been cracked by graduates. In total, 35,281 vacancies have been announced and as per candidates, 20 times the number of vacancies should be selected for the second stage CBT exam.

Addressing the concerns raised by candidates over the process of shortlisting candidates for the second stage of the ongoing recruitment examination under RRB NTPC CBT 1 result, the Ministry of Railways had released a clarification. The Ministry said that the result has been declared as per the provision laid down in notification. Finally, about 35,000 distinct candidates will be selected and one will be appointed against only one post depending upon merit and preference.
