TANCA 2021: Anna University releases counselling schedule for SCA to SC

Candidates are advised to visit the university website, annauniv.edu, for complete schedule. Besides, college-wise vacancies have also been released by the university. 

Anna university has released SCA to SC counselling schedule for the Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2021. Candidates are advised to visit the university website, annauniv.edu, for complete schedule. Besides, college-wise vacancies have also been released by the university.  SC candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu are required to pay a total of INR 1,177 (INR 1,000 as the initial deposit, INR 150 counselling fee and 18 per cent GST (INR 27)).  

As per the official notification released by Anna University, the seat matrix pertaining to TANCA 2021 counselling for vacancies of SCA after completion of general counselling (TANCA 2021) is available in the TANCA Web Portal. Only SC candidates are eligible to apply. A vacancy in SCA will be moved to SC if and only if there are no vacancies in the respective branch in a college under OC and SC. The counselling schedule is available in the web portal.

TANCA is conducted by Anna University so as to admit students to postgraduate (PG) courses in engineering in several colleges in Tamil Nadu. The process is for all students who want to pursue degree programmes in technical colleges of the state. Around 300 colleges participate in this procedure of handling admission through a common entrance by analysing the scores in both Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) and TANCET.
