Introduction to Doeacc O Level:

The DOEACC 'O' Level Course is a course to establish a foundation level skill set in the IT field. The duration is typically one year (two semesters, each six months long). The upgraded Level of the IT course is DOEACC's A-Level. An advanced diploma in the field of Computer Application is equivalent to an 'A' level certification. · Candidates must have either 10 + 2 standard of education or complete a 1-year of ITI course, followed by a DOEACC O-Level course certified by the Govt. Students can supplement their studies by undertaking a certification course of DOEACC 'O' Level when in their 3^rd year in the Polytechnic.

· Students can produce certificates of their 10 + 2 standard exams or opt ITI course after the 10^th standard to become eligible for the Direct Applicants category. If not, they must pass DGFT's NCVT examination, followed by the DGET examination.

1. Theoretical Exam

The DOEACC exam will be conducted twice a year, in January and July. There are many locations country-wide where you can take the test. The list can be found on the website you access when registering for your exam.

Exam centres come with a variety of options to work with your schedule. The exams are monitored, and the duration of each exam is three hours. Exams include a full mark of 100 points and have an examination fee of Rs. 500 per section. Exam forms cost Rs. 25 each

2. Practical Exam

While filling up the form, students need to give the option of appearing for a practical examination but will have to pay an examination fee of Rs.300/- on top of the regular exam fee. The duration of every practical exam is kept as 3 hours.
