RRBs are likely to conduct the first stage CBT exam of RRB NTPC in March next year. The admit cards for the exam are to be issued to candidates in February 2020.

Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are likely to conduct RRB NTPC exam in March 2020. The admit cards for the exam will be released in February 2020. According to the media reports, RRBs are yet to finalise the private agency to conduct the exam. Once this is finalised, it would require at least another month’s time for the process to begin. It is likely that the process of finalising the agency will be completed this month.

According to the official notification, the first stage CBT exam of RRB NTPC was scheduled to be conducted tentatively between June to September 2019. It’s been 8 months that candidates have applied for RRB NTPC exam, however, there is no development in the selection process. Moreover, candidates have not received any confirmation regarding their candidature for the recruitment.

Usually, RRBs ask candidates to modify their photographs or signatures after scrutinising the applications. However, the candidates did not received any update on the application forms.

Total 1.26 lakh applications have been received against 35,208 RRB NTPC vacancies. The selection process of RRB NTPC comprises -1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.

 According to RRB NTPC exam pattern 2019, the first stage CBT comprises 100 objective type multiple choice questions from General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence & Reasoning. There is negative marking for wrong answers, 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
