RRB NTPC 2020 new exam update: Important notice issued for ECA

The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have issued important notice related to the finalization of ECA for RRB NTPC 2020 exam. The boards will hold the pre-bid conference at RRB Chennai Office on July 7, 2020 for ECA.

Earlier, the pre-bid conference was scheduled of RRB NTPC was to be held in person,however, due to the present situation, the meeting will be held online through video conferencing. Railways have asked the bidders to send the details such as the name of the person, organisation, authorization letter, email ID, mobile number through email to RRB Chennai.

The ECA will be responsible for conducting multiple stages of CBT, Computer Based Aptitude/Typing, Skill Test, Document Verification and all other related services in connection with RRB NTPC recruitment.

In view of COVID-19 scenario, the exams will be conducted by observing certain guidelines such as social distancing, sanitization of exam venues, biometric/frisking, etc.

Recently, Indian Railways had informed that it will speed up the recruitment process of RRB NTPC once the lockdown eases.

A total of 1.26 crore applications were received against 35,208 vacancies. The exam comprises various stages such as first Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination. Appointment of successful candidates will be done to the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Station Master, etc.
