RIE CEE 2025: The exam conducting authority, National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is expected to release the RIE CEE 2025 notification tentatively in May 2025. Along with the notification, the exam conducting authorities will also release the RIE CEE application form 2025 on its official website - cee.ncert.gov.in. Students meeting the minimum eligibility criteria will be able to fill the application form of RIE CEE 2025 till the last date. Students successfully submitting the application form will be issued the RIE CEE hall ticket 2025 to appear in the exam. As mentioned in the official notification of NCERT for RIE CEE to fill the RIE CEE application form, candidates must have cleared Class XII from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates). RIE CEE 2025 eligibility criteria for BSc BEd, BA BEd, and MSc Ed courses are as mentioned below:

Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics (PCM) subjects fulfill RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under the Physical Science group.

Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects fulfill RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under the Biological Science group.

Candidates should have cleared Class XII from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates).

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams in 2019 are also eligible to apply.

BA BEd

RIE CEE 2025 Admission Process

RIE CEE admission process includes the following steps:

Step 1: Fill RIE CEE application form

For RIE CEE 2025 registrations, candidates were supposed to fill out the application form in online mode on the official website of RIE Ajmer. After the RIE CEE application form was duly filled, candidates had to take a printout of it and send it to the address mentioned on the form.

RIE CEE application fee: Candidates had to pay the application fee both in the online mode (via debit/ credit card) and offline mode [via SBI challan (to be printed online at State Bank Collect)].

Note: A candidate could apply for more than one course with a single application form.

Step 2: Download the RIE CEE admit card

After the application form was successfully submitted, candidates were required to download their RIE CEE 2025 admit card from the official website of RIE Ajmer. Admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the RIE CEE 2025 exam centre.

Step 3: Appear for the RIE CEE exam

Next, candidates had to appear for the RIE CEE 2025 at the allotted exam centre. RIE CEE entrance exam consisted of 80 questions of 160 marks. Candidates had to complete the exam in a duration of two hours.

Step 4: Check the RIE CEE result

Candidates can check their RIE CEE 2025 result on the official website of RIE Ajmer. Candidates qualifying for the teaching entrance exam will then be eligible to secure admission at NCERT RIE in their respective courses.

Step 5: Appear for RIE CEE counselling

Lastly, candidates need to appear for the RIE CEE 2025 counselling session at their respective RIEs. In the counselling session, candidates will be allotted seats in their respective courses based on merit.

Q:   What is the fee of RIE CEE exam?

A:

RIE CEE fees for general and OBC category candidates is INR 900 while for SC/ST/PH candidates the fee is INR 450. Candidates were supposed to pay the application fee of RIE CEE in online mode after filling the application form.

Q:   Is there any scholarship in the RIE CEE exam?

A:

Yes, there is a provision for scholarships in the RIE CEE exam. As per the exam body NCERT, after the RIE CEE result is declared, the exam body will provide scholarships to SC and ST candidates and 50% to remaining candidates. Notably, the scholarships will be awarded only to those candidates who submit a copy of their parent's income certificate.

Language proficiency section consists of total 40 marks, Teaching Aptitude section consists of total 60 marks and Reasoning Ability section is 60 marks.

The exam body, NCERT declared the RIE CEE result 2025 online mode on its official website of the exam. To check and download the RIE CEE result, candidates had to log in using their issued credentials. The RIE CEE result download link is also made available here on this page.

  • Candidates are required to visit the official website of the exam - cee.ncert.gov.in.

RIE CEE Previous Year's Question Papers

Candidates who aspire to take admission in courses offered through RIE CEE can also prepare for the exam with the help of RIE CEE Previous Years's Question Papers. Candidates can use the RIE CEE previous year's question paper to practice for the exam. Along with the previous year's question paper, candidates can use books and online resources for RIE CEE exam preparation.  

RIE CEE questions are objective type. There are a total of 80 questions asked in the RIE CEE and candidates are required to answer them in 120 minutes. Candidates will be awarded two marks for correct answers while 0.5 will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Eligibility

BSc BEd

Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics (PCM) subjects fulfil RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under the Physical Science group.

Candidates who have passed Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects fulfill RIE CEE eligibility criteria for BSc BEd course admissions under the Biological Science group.

Candidates should have cleared Class XII from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates).

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams are also eligible to apply.

BA BEd

Candidates who have cleared Class XII in Science, Commerce, or Arts stream with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ ST/ PH category candidates) meet RIE CEE 2023 eligibility criteria for the BA BEd course. 

Candidates appearing for their Class XII exams are also eligible to apply.

MSc Ed

To meet RIE CEE eligibility criteria for MSc Ed course admissions, candidates should have cleared Class XII with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Statistics subjects.
