RIE CEE BEd Pattern 2023: Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The RIE CEE exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The exam duration is 120 minutes. The total number of questions is usually 80. The exam is divided into three sections: Language Proficiency, Teaching Aptitude/Attitude, and Reasoning Ability. Each correct answer typically carries 2 marks, and there may be negative markings for incorrect answers.

As per the RIE CEE marking scheme, there will be 80 questions in the exam which will be objective type in nature and the time duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. Candidates will get 2 marks for each correct question and 0.5 will be deducted as minus marking for wrong response.

Yes there is negative marking in the RIE CEE exam. As per the official notification shared by the exam body National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT), there is negative marking in the exam. Candidates will get 2 marks for each correct question and 0.5 will be deducted as minus marking for wrong response. Hence, candidates must ensure that they mark the answers carefully.

As mentioned in the offiical notice released by National Council of Educational Research & Training (NCERT) the language of the RIE CEE question paper will be in English and Hindi (except for language proficiency). There will be 80 questions of objective type in nature and the time duration will be 120 minutes/2 hours. Candidates will get 2 marks for each correct reponse while and 0.5 will be deducted as negative marking.

As per past year's analysis of RIE CEE exam, the exam is generally easy to moderate level. So if candidates have done basic preparation for the exam they can qualify it easily. However, it must to be noted that due to high number of candidates appearing for the exam, it becomes highly competitive in cracking the exam. To have an edge over the competition, candidates must ensure that they practice well by solving the question paper on a regular basis and giving mock tests.

No, the question papers are completely different for all the subjects -

• For B.A.B.Ed., B.Sc.B.Ed., M.Sc.Ed., the difficulty level of the question papers are of +2/12th class level.
• For B.Ed. and B.Ed-M.Ed, the difficulty level of the question papers are of Graduation level.
• For M.Ed., question papers are of graduation and professional education level.
