TSEdCET Exam Pattern 2025: The exam conducting authority Kakatiya University prescribes the TSEdCET 2025 exam pattern. The exam pattern of TSEdCET 2025 will be mentioned in the official notification and be released on the official website of the exam body - tgche.ac.in. The TSEdCET exam pattern 2025 consists of the sections, stages, time duration, and marking scheme of the exam. Candidates preparing for the TGEdCET exam are advised to check the exam pattern before starting their preparations. As per the TGEdCET exam pattern 2025, there are a total of 150 objective-type multiple-choice questions of 150 marks that candidates need to answer in two hours duration. The exam will be conducted in computer-based online mode. Along with the exam pattern candidates are also advised to check the TSEdCET syllabus. For better preparation of the exam, candidates are advosed to solve the TGEdCET mock tests. A: 

The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TSEdCET) consists of multiple-choice questions. The exam duration is 2 hours/120 minutes. Subjects include - General English, General Knowledge & Teachng Aptitude, Mathematics, Physical Scneinces, Bioogical Sciences, Social Studies and English. Each correct answer carries one mark, and there is no negative marking.

Given below are the highlights for the exam pattern of the state-level teaching entrance exam:

All 150 questions in TS EdCET exam are divided into three parts – A, B, and C.

  • Part A and B are common for all candidates.
  • Part C of the question paper changes according to the methodology chosen by a candidate.

Note: A candidate needs to choose one methodology/ subject out of the given five methodologies/ subjects (mentioned in the table below).

Marking Scheme: One mark is allotted to each correct answer. The official website does not specify if there will be any negative marking in the exam.

The medium of instruction of the question paper in English and Telugu. However, for candidates opting for English methodology the medium of the question paper is English only. Also, “candidates opting to write the entrance test in Urdu medium are served with Urdu paper and such candidates shall opt Hyderabad only as a test centre,” informs the official website.
